Knox Makers will be hosting a Soldering Workshop tomorrow, Tuesday (11/6) at 6:30 PM. It's aimed at beginning solderers and the solder-curious, probably with something to offer the okay-solderer. We will be providing ten soldering toolkits so for attendees to use and experiment with, so don't be afraid to show up if you've never soldered and don't own any equipment. This class will be hosted by Issac, a Knox Makers Member. Topics to be covered include:
- Wire Splicing
- ...and maybe a touch of SMD Soldering
Attendees are welcome to ask soldering-related questions, or even bring in some stuff to solder with the help and direction of the seasoned amateurs of Knox Makers. There will be some sample materials provided. One member has offered to donate some protoboard for practicing, and we still have a few blinking "Learn to Solder" badges for sale at the event. The badges are a great way to practice your through-hole soldering skills.
We hope to see you there!
