Relative Prime's house
Come find out how easy it is to get started using the Arduino and discover the possibilities of what you can do with this nifty little device.
This is open to everyone to attend. I'll be sending out an email to the Google groups members with the address. If you would like to come, just shoot me an email - relative dot prime at gmail
This one night workshop with cover Arduino basics, including:
1) Setting up the development environment, needed libraries, and the Arduino Development Environment
2) Microcontroller basics
2) Writing, uploading and debugging code
3) Interfacing with Arduino with sensors, processing and displaying data
You do not need to have ANY experience with microcontrollers or even programming. This is going to be an easy approach and will assume no prior experience. If you would like to read up before hand, you may want to check out the excellent resources at the official Arduino site.
The primary objective is to have fun!The secondary objective it to show what the Arduino can do and get people set up to use it.
If you can, please bring something to eat - pot luck. Don't stress about what to bring, or feel you must bring something - if you can, great.
If you have any questions please feel free to email me! And if you are planning on coming, please just let me know.
